I have been there a couple of times and had a good experience each time. Customer service is always great and I have never had a problem with the food. Definitely recommend!
A great breakfast deal for R55 until 11:30. Thoroughly enjoyed your breakfast and liked the other options on the menu. Service can improve in the sense that more attention could be paid to the table and a more spirited welcome would be appreciated. Cappuccino was great too, Hot Chocolate needs a bit of work.
Great place for breakfast or brunch. It can get a little busy on account of their great special of R55 for any breakfast before 11am, but its honestly worth the wait. All their breakfasts are delicious. If you're looking for something filling and you're really hungry, I suggest the army breakfast or the mince and egg on toast. The poached eggs are also really delicious for a bit of a smaller breakfast. Great service and friendly staff!
Whether you're looking for a nice brunch spot or a delicious dinner, 1855 is a great option. Their menu provides variety with ligter meals and desserts included. The atmosphere is relaxing with outdoor seating overlooking the center fountain. The wait staff are super friendly all though quite busy due to the place's popularity over weekends. 10/10, would go again.
Absolutely love this place, I came 2 days in a row. Milkshakes were great and had probably the BEST chicken pesto pasta of my life. Service amazing. And pricing very affordable. Little Gem in Pretoria
The breakfast I had was great and was more than I could handle. I just wish that the waitrons wake up tl the fact that excellent service from them results in repeat business. Just taking an order and serving it when it is ready, is not enough. Being friendly and talkative is not enough. Thos must be backed up by attentive service. Attentive, not intrusive.
Absolutely the best breakfast restaurant. Although the food selection is limited, it's true to its essence as a breakfast place. The drinks? Top class, and the aesthetics make for cute scenery. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in PTA.
